Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Egosi-Ile

It is with a great deal of enthusiasm that the staff and I welcome you to Apostolic Faith Secondary School, Egosi-Ile. Our school continues to grow over the years and we are indeed grateful to God for this. The school has students from across Nigeria representing different ethnic , cultural and religious groups. This school continue to set benchmarks by which others can be measured. In selecting AFSS, Egosi for your children, you have chosen a school noted for its innovation and dedication to providing an education for the 21st century child. We welcome your family to AFSS and wish to extend our invitation to you to be an active and informed member of our school community.

The school was opened in 2005 and its success to date can be attributed to the extent that all members of the school community have become involved in the life of the school. We promote involvement by all stakeholders to ensure the particular needs of students are met. Please don’t hesitate to inform your child’s teacher if there are areas you fill we should improve upon as we welcome your suggestions to help us give these children the very best that they deserve.

AFSS has a focus on supporting the individual needs of the learner via a Special Education Unit that caters for children with special needs.

I am delighted to inform you that a lot of our graduates are in higher institutions of learning across Nigeria and beyond. I am also excited to inform you that all our students scored well above 200 in the just concluded UTME and that some of them already made their o’level papers in SS2.

Parents are welcome to discuss their child/ren’s progress with class teachers and/or with the Principal throughout the year. Please phone or write for a suitable appointment time. If you believe it’s a problem or have a concern, so do we and we will listen!
